The more international of Paris's two airports, Roissy-Charles de Gaulle welcomes visitors from the planet over in its space-age terminals. To get to Paris from Roissy or vice-versa, one has three options: a taxi will take about 45 minutes and should cost around 250F (EUR 38.11); the Roissybus is direct to the Opéra Garnier and takes an hour or so and costs 48F (EUR 7.32); Air France coaches cost 55F (EUR 8.39) and take an hour to get to the Place de l'Etoile; and the RER commuter train can take up to an hour and a half (including time spent in a shuttle from the airport to Roissypôle station). These times vary according to time of day and season.
