This out-of-the-way theater, founded by Peter Brook (who still directs here at times), offers new and experimental productions including quite a lot of comedies - although it doesn't shy from the odd Shakespeare piece. Les Bouffes du Nord (Comic Opera of the North) is a true jewel, despite the charmingly shabby condition of its unpretentious quarters. Besides plays, the theater hosts various events including comedy acts and one-man shows. Tickets between EUR8 and EUR25.
