As you browse through the hundreds of Café that lace this avenue, you may not notice that the Café Signes is quite different. Welcome to Paris' first café where the hearing impaired and the hearing are on equal footing - here, you find the customers and staff using their hands to communicate. All 45 of the staff are hearing impaired, and if you don't know how to use the sign language, the menu has some cute tips - make a steeple shape and you will get French fries. You can also point or write down your order. The steak fries are worth a try here.
