This club, hidden underground, was for a long time a temple for people opposing mainstream Parisian culture. The great alternative movements found refuge here: punk, gothic, hardcore techno, etc. But the times when Police and Stray Cats drew the crowds in, have long gone! Nowadays, Gibus is a temple for clubbers mad about drum & bass, hardhouse and garage. The customers are therefore young, trendy and dance until the end of the night. Unless you're 20 years old and extremely energetic, it's hard to keep up with the pace until dawn. For true ravers only.
