This Art Deco and Art Nouveau inspired building is undoubtedly the most majestic hotel on the Left Bank. When it was built in 1910 it attracted provincials coming to Paris to do their shopping at the nearby Bon Marché department store that concentrated upon selling quintessential Parisian elegance. Since then, the actress Catherine Deneuve and the sculptor Arman have come here. There is even a suite named after him - the suite Arman is the most luxurious suite in the hotel and was decorated by the famous designer Sonia Rykiel (who is also a regular visitor).
