The name suggests a hint of history involving the acclaimed author, but no it isn't so. This bar may lack many of the contemporary trappings, in terms of interiors, but somehow the comfy library effect is soothing. The cocktails, especially the cognac flavored with truffles plus homemade Irish cream, are inviting enough. Pack a book for company. Not necessarily For Whom the Bells Toll.
