This museum is dedicated to sculpture and, as you can no doubt guess from its name, to the works of Antoine Bourdelle, Rodin's assistant and sculptor in his own right. Besides his 900 varied and fascinating sculptures, his original casts are worth the detour. Don't miss the Archer Herakles - it's probably his most famous work. The museum was set up in the workshop where he worked from 1884 to 1929. It was opened in 1949 after his widow left the building to the city of Paris. If you find the sculptures inspiring, you should also visit the Musée Rodin.
