The Abbaye Royale is an impressive baroque building built by Queen Ann of Austria in the middle of the 16th century. Since the First World War, it has become the Musée du Service de Santé des Armées (Army's Health Service Museum). The history of military medicine is retraced here through a rich collection of paintings, uniforms, medical instruments and models. This museum is worth a visit for its fine architecture as well as its historical interest. Admission: adults EUR5.
