As the name indicates, the Palais des Congrès (Convention Center) hosts conventions; but big-budget stage shows, frequently musicals but also including rock concerts and straight plays, are also produced here. Shows tend not to change very often at the Palais des Congrès, in part because any show big enough to play this enormous room is automatically a much-discussed and curiosity-provoking event.
