One of the best things about the Vincennes zoo is the fact that just a few métro stations from the city centre. This rather traditional zoo is an institution. On sunny Sundays, Parisians take it by storm certain to spend (finally) a great day! The 1200 animals delight the youngest visitors. To enjoy a splendid view of Paris, climb up to the mountain-goats park, 60 metres high. The most popular animals remain the seals and placid elephants, which would probably prefer to be free than well liked. Admission: EUR8; free for children age 4 and under.
