The Meurice Hotel proudly speaks of this, its gastronomic jewel. Make a foray into this gorgeous restaurant, whose décor is an extension of the hotel's ambience of luxury and style. Chef Yannick Alléno has bagged a Michelin Two-Star rating for his delicious preparations. Make sure you are armed with a reservation, for it's pretty difficult to get a table. The staff greets all patrons with equal respect and politesse. A really long wine list, with sparkling water and various brews line the menu, but it's advisable to steer clear of beers in France. The chef's repertoire includes traditional French cuisine, alongside modern creations, and though the portions are small, they are beautifully presented. An interesting course is the pre-dessert, which sets you in the mood for the real thing, leaving patrons with a glorious aftertaste.
