This yearly musical celebration puts the emphasis on innovative and experimental jazz. It features a series of free open-air concerts, which take place at Parc La Villette, as well as other venues throughout the city. Performances blend music, theatre and video installations. The showcase of artists for the festival and other recent editions have included Dave Holland, Joshua Redman and Jean-Michel Pilc among many others. Tickets start at EUR16; open-air concerts are free.
